Awning, Sage

The striped canvas awnings over market stalls, as a 5 cm vertical stripe with one fine pinline down each pale band. The simplest pattern we make and the quickest to hang.

Stripes show any wall that is out of plumb. If your corners lean, start from a plumb line in the middle of the wall and work outwards.

Specification

• Colours: Sage and off-white stripes, dark green pinline
• Match: straight, no visible repeat
• Roll: 52 cm × 10 m (20.5 in × 32.8 ft), about 5.2 m² (56 sq ft) before pattern matching
• Paper: non-woven base, printed with water-based pigment inks, matt finish
• Hanging: paste the wall; strips come off dry in one piece when you redecorate
• Cleaning: wipeable, not scrubbable
• Printed to order and dispatched within 5 to 7 business days; approx. 0.9 kg per roll, shipped in a card tube

Care. Wipe marks with a damp, well-wrung cloth and a drop of mild soap, then pat dry. Do not scrub, and keep it out of splash zones behind sinks and hobs. Hanging steps, roll maths and the full care notes are on Care & Materials.
